Qatar donates urgent medical aid to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka government has received an urgent medical aid from the Qatar Fund for Development to support the health sector in Sri Lanka, according to a statement issued by the Embassy of the state of Qatar in Sri Lanka yesterday (01st November 2022.
HE Jassim bin Jaber Jassim Al-Sorour, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Colombo,,handed over the Qatari medical aid, to Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Health in Sri Lanka.
The Qatar Fund for Development said, in a statement, that this urgent medical aid will play a pivotal role in promoting health, and will contribute to easing the burden on the medical sector in Sri Lanka.
